Description

Wonderful route, follow whichever path you find the most intriguing.

Location

Continue up and slightly left from the trail at the north end of the Amphitheater and traverse to an opening where the Scepter and Mummy II are located.

Protection

There are bolted anchors on the left at the top. There is also a bolted anchor at about 2/3 height on the right-hand easy ramp.

Photos

We climbed the right side 2/10/17 and couldn't find the anchors 2/3 up. There are anchors at the top, directly across from the ones on the left but nothing lower that we could find. Feb 10, 2017

We climbed 1/12/18 the right side lower down and then found a red sling sticking out of the ice in the center about 3/5 of the way up. Looked like a permanent anchor. Made for a nice intermediate anchor, so we did it as a two pitch climb, allowed us to do it with just a 60 m single. Trended left at the last steep section because it was easier. Jan 17, 2018

The mid-way anchors are on the far right, below the rock band. Jan 18, 2018
