An Indifference to Ascension

V6, Boulder, 15 ft (5 m),  Avg: 2.7 from 3 votes
FA: No
Colorado > Grand Junction… > Riggs' Hill > Riggs' Hill East > Diamond Boulder

Description

This is a good line that starts in the alcove in the east face. The starting hold is on a double-match on a triangle hold. Then moves up right to a gaston and then fires to an intermediate left dimple and then resumes to a long left-hand reach to a crimp, then up right to a horizontal pinch and then continues up crimps to top out. A 2nd version of this problem starts the same and then follows the red line on side-angled crimps out the red line (in the beta photo), once the long reach to the crimp, with the left-hand, is reached. See pics for that move. Both versions are within the same grade of V5-6 but, the traverse requires more tension. This problem, though it climbs differently(being that the feature is an opposite of a prow), will remind you of the SDS to The Prow Problem at Matthew Winters Park, outside of Morrison.

Location

This is on the East face of boulder.
