RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Start matched on a decent crimp. Move up and left into an awesome pinch feature. Continue left to the arĂȘte and top out just left of the apex.

It will be on the left side of the boulder as you approach it. You will see a slab(v2) as you approach.

Just did the pocket-less version of the climb this weekend. Feels about V6/7, as compared to other problems around Gateway and Kraft. That said, I never climbed the problem in its original state, so I can't compare it to the previous difficulty. Mar 6, 2017
As of a mid January 2016, the main finger pocket on Jack of all Trades has crumbled and is basically fully broken. I'll leave it to others to opine on whether it is still doable and if so, at what grade.

I really enjoyed this problem. It is unique in that its cramped position and blocky landing area actually add to the fun. Kicking your feet back and forth over the embedded block while working the cool pinch makes for an extra memorable sequence. Apr 24, 2015
