Description

The perfect rock of Blocage Violent (rough catch in french) is the site of many whippers. Sustained 5.12 climbing on classic Ceuse dishes and pockets all the way to the top. As the angle decreases, distance between bolts increases. Great route to learn to fall with style on.

Location

One of the further left blue streaks on the Berlin Sector. One route left of Dolce Vita, if I'm not mistaken the name should be written on the rock down low.

For what it worth, I didn't think there was anything 12b about this route. Not sure why there is a slash grade on MP, but I think most would agree that this route is certainly 12c (and a hard one at that). Jul 27, 2014
