Description

A fun and well protected slab route. Climb up the center of the slab past 7 bolts to the trees above. A second bolt was added next to the last bolt to make an anchor to lower off with one rope. I recommend stopping here. The climbing above is very dirty.

Location

The Little Slab

Protection

7 bolts to bolt anchor or continue to trees above

Handren gives "80 ft" for "Brilliant" & "Little Slabba" which implies a 50m (165 ft) could be used. Perhaps, but I think it would be "very close" on the basis of my using a 50m to rap off "Chickenheads", which ends several feet higher. 60m is best for "Brilliant", "Little Slabba" and "Elvis" that start at/near the low point.
Less of a problem now that 60m is pretty standard, but wanted to mention it since some might want to take a 50m to save a bit of weight. May 1, 2016

Was out there today. All of the Little Slab routes can be rapped with a single 60m rope, so they are less than 100 ft. Handren's new guidebook has more accurate lengths. Oct 6, 2015

As with Brilliant, maybe this is a bit longer than a single 50M could TR...? Sep 23, 2013
