Portions of the approach and cliffs of this area are on private land. Details

Description

Weird first bolt placement a little left and low. I broke a hold as I reached for the 2nd bolt clipping jug. Fortunately the Steve was paying attention so I just touched the ground. Fun after that.

Location

Starts just right of Beautiful Noise at the end of the roped traverse.

This route is now known as 'Dancing With The Scars'. Mar 18, 2013
I'm not trying to quibble but I do like to ruffle. It is interesting that only one of the current developers is unwilling to post up. I guess the rest of us don't care about access. Damn you EFR, Erik, David, Red, Louie Anderson, Marty Karabin and you other bastards that are trying to get the stead closed down. Those of you who have commented or given stars or told anyone about the place are included. You all suck for trying to get the place closed down.

John the access issue doesn't hold water. If it did he wouldn't want you posting Unnamed route number 666999 FA ____________

I post these unnamed routes up with names so that I can remember them. If this other developer is griping to you about it please ask him to contact me directly about it. My response to him will be what I have written above. If he doesn't like me posting them up then he should post them up.

Oh, and for the record I did not start this conversation. Also for the record there is a long history of unnamed routes getting named. Jan 19, 2012

As far as I know the route really doesn't have a name. Jan 17, 2012

Not trying to quibble or ruffle either - I just don't see the point of not sharing route names for routes that are already posted. This clearly does not affect access at all. An email with a route name seems the simplist and best way to fix things like this. Jan 17, 2012

I agree that unnamed and unlisted routes cause confusion; however, since the area is still being developed and there are potential access issues I can respect the choice of not making all information publicly available. Regardless of my personal feelings I do not think it is my place to make the decision for others. Since this route is posted, however, I think it should be listed with respect and accuracy.

It isn't worth quibbling over and I'm not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers. I consider you, Eric and Scott all friends. Jan 17, 2012

Perhaps Scott could provide a name? It would be a whole lot easier than having several unnamed routes. Jan 17, 2012

The route information should be listed as "Unnamed" (11a), Scott Ayers. Jan 17, 2012

The first bolt has been raised so the ground fall danger has been eliminated. A stick clip might be useful now however. Jan 2, 2012
