The standard UK-US grade translation tables suggest that this climb, rated VS 4c currently, should be 5.8 in US terms. This is probably correct when the holds are green and slimy (see photo) but 5.5 would be more accurate if you are used to slabs in the Colorado's South Platte or similar areas.


The first significant bit of rock encountered at the northern end of Stanage (well, honestly, even the boulders at Vedauwoo are a lot bigger) is End Slab. Green Streak starts left of the overlap and goes straight up.


Cams or hexes in pockets give good protection
