Description

Start underneath the Project with the seepy hold and follow the break right all the way to the end. I didn't use the upper boulder or the crack until the end to mantel out. Could use some more cleaning. Pumpy.

Location

On the huge boulder

Protection

A few pads

Ha. That's awesome. I was just out for the afternoon. It was really dirty, but cleaned pretty easily. I just saw the long traverse and it looked fun and hard, took me awhile to unlock and figure out. Some of the slopers on the lower part were really slopey. I'll definitely go back, I didn't get a chance to climb on the other stuff. The V8+ proj looks pretty cool! Oct 2, 2011

did you try the route listed as project V8+?? I felt like it could go someday but working it kinda torques your wrists on the slopers pretty bad. Oct 2, 2011

I think almost every variation of this traverse has been done. I used to think of this as the low low start to westby traverse, but it was rarely done as its always so dirty/grainy/damp. After the vertical break we would throw in some variations.... stay high on slopers only (usually the most difficult, depending on conditions)... go low on sidepulls on the face only....do it in reverse and finish up the highball crack....go up on slopers, then reverse on face without topping out all the way....transfer to the boulder behind the topout while on the traverse....
wow I spent way too much time there! Oct 2, 2011
