Description

Good vertical crack climbing fun and recently cleaned, Firebird climbs a friendly crack system on the left side of the Zonkers wall.

P1 5.6+ 80 Climb a short hand crack step left, follow the crack system up to a large ledge with some oak trees.

P2 5.7+ 45 Start on the left side of the ledge, Face climb up to a 6in wide crack leading to the top.

The second pitch has not been cleaned but could use it. From the first belay you can walk right along a ledge that provides access to some of the upper routes/pitches or just for the view. 

Location

Furthest left and obviously cleaned route on the Zonkers wall

Protection

Big, Medium, and Small cracks, Oak anchors

[Hide Comment] tree with the tat at the end of pitch 1 is very dead. probably better to plan to top this out and hike back down through the playground area. Sep 23, 2019
