Description

A fun little roof problem in the amphitheater. It takes an easy line up to a roof with good holds. I couldn't make it look pretty (just thug away)but it was still a fun climb.

Location

This route is the obvious overhang in the area.

Protection

Bolts to bolted anchor.

[Hide Comment] My favorite way to climb this roof is to climb straight up the awsome finger crack of trix, no need to clip any of the bolts, the finger crack is A1 and super fun, clip the bolt on the roof and fire over the top. Great mixed route variation, only needing to climb 2 bolts at the roof and over the top. I find this to be the most direct and fun line to the roof. May 31, 2012

[Hide Comment] Good route and sees lots of attempts. Lots of falls at the roof as well and the bolt there shows it. Anyone have a drill? Jul 29, 2012

[Hide Comment] I agree with Phil, the bolt has seen better days. I will check the condition in a few weeks when I climb there. Sep 11, 2012

[Hide Comment] Shapp has it right, trad the direct Trix crack and clip the bolt below the roof and pull over to the chains. As of Oct. 2013 the bolt is still suspect. Jan 3, 2015

[Hide Comment] The bolt attached to the underside of the roof can be moved in and out by hand. It needs to be replaced soon and anyone climbing this route should be cautious.

There are also 2 active wasp nest. So there is that too. Sep 9, 2021
