I'm told this is one of the best 9's around, especially because of its length.
P2- 5.11a, 160'

Location

about 150 feet from the parking area, look for a long orange streak.

Protection

Chain anchors. bring lots of draws and two ropes.

[Hide Comment] A very unique and memorable climb in a desert environment with an alpine feel. Pitch 1 is a full 60 meters (15 clips) of moderate climbing with a couple thin spots, ending at a semi-hanging stance just left of the huge "eye" feature. A very worthy pitch 2 continues to the top of the formation and has a short, well protected 5.11crux and miles of continuous 5.10. 2 sixty meter ropes are mandatory. Aug 13, 2018
