Description

A "less classic" but harder crimp start into "Thews" proper:

Start with a left hand on the crimp out to the left of the sidepull/pinch that is the start to "thews proper" and a right hand pulling the low crimp undercling rail.

Paste a foot underneath and pull on. Reach up and gain the pinch to begin and finish standard "Thews".

Usually you get to situate your hand "Just right" on the pinch, but starting low on the tiny undercling forces you to make do with what you grab.

May add difficulty or be more sustained, but this is pretty unnatural start to the most bautiful and natural line in the area! Nov 7, 2011
