A finger crack that bites back! One that must truly be earned and is an onsight to be proud of, one of the most pure finger cracks in the Adirondacks.

Climb up and right onto a small ledge then back left to an alcove (same as for on the loose), traverse 10 feet left on the sloping ledge then embark upwards on a thin finger crack capped with a roof. Break left up the overhang to the left leaning crack to a ledge then back right to the fixed anchor shared with On the Loose.

same as On the Loose

up to 1 inch, extra finger sized cams and wires.

This thing felt ridiculously hard on TR - 12a+++

The upper section has no biter locks anywhere - rattly finger and smooth rounded edges make this thing a cryptic jungle. Want to try it again on TR soon... May 19, 2012
Not trying to give anyone a hard time . But it seemed like 5.10 to me .It's notably easier than Romanos and nowhere near as hard as the 11+s on the wall. Now the direct start!Thats 5.12.Couldn't do it.Igot all the climbs at the far left end of the cliff cleaned off.I highly recomend these routes. They are almost all hard for the grade. I led Romano's Route and White Knight the same day and White Knight is definitely the harder of the two. I remember those jams as being really smooth and rattly. I couldn't believe it was rated 11 at the time. Romano's is no pushover for the grade either. Maybe my best day at the web to onsite both of them. Mar 10, 2017
I also onsighted the White Knight and Romano's back to back last week and remembered this thread. I came back a few days later to try to complete the hat trick on It's Only Entertainment but came up a little short. I think it's the hardest of the three. All are stone cold classics.
As for the grade, I agree with the above comments: somewhere between 5.10 and 5.12a+++ sounds about right! Sep 27, 2017
