Warbonnet

V5, Boulder,  Avg: 3.7 from 104 votes
FA: unknown
Arkansas > North-Central A… > Horseshoe Canyo… > Idaho Boulders > Crescent/War Bonnet Area

Description

The best v5 at HCR. Start sitting, and climb up and slightly right through the overhanging wall. The hardest moves are before you get to the blunt lip, but the most technical moves are turning the lip and topping out.

Location

Probably the first boulder you will come to when you get to the Crescent area. Look for a steep wall with edges and pockets.

Protection

A couple of pads and a spotter.

NOT COOL--Someone played tick-tack-toe in chalk next to Warbonnet. This area will NEVER see rain.

[Hide Comment] Great problem and a beautiful boulder. It's a shame that someone decided to play tick-tack-toe with chalk to the right of the problem. This section of the boulder doesn't get any rain so it wont be washed off. Nov 28, 2018
