Description

This is a climb with several variations. Pulgar del diablo has two starts a true 10D start with human yucca eating plant below it, and a high 1st bolt 5.9 start to the right of that. The 5.9 variation start only has one bolt before continuing back into the original route. The climb continues on up a moderate slab up to tricky bulge which leads into the devils thumb. top the thumb into a cruxy and fingery good time, before topping out to a two bolt anchor.

Protection

Encountered wasps on the route a couple of days ago. No sign of a large hive, but it still was unnerving to have them buzzing around you and landing on some of the holds. Oct 31, 2014
