Description

This is one of the easiest routes at the Beach. Lizard King is in the middle-ish of Left Wall. It's defining characteristic is a right-facing flake about 7 feet off the ground. The first clip is kind of high, but it's not that scary because this flake makes the last bit of climbing easy. After that it's slab climbing up to the anchors.

Protection

5 bolts, 2 bolt anchor/rap.

Fun route, good way to start the day and get your head into slab climbing. Felt a tad bit hard for the 5.9 rating. Sep 5, 2011

I hesitate to uprate but this line seems as hard as the routes on either side. Apr 25, 2012

The fourth bolt has been pulled out about half an inch. It's not very inspiring for a slab warm up! If anyone was up there, it's be a good candidate for some work.. Jul 2, 2017
