Access Issue: Private Land-gate closed and locked by nightfall.
Details
Sugarloaf is a privately owned recreation area. The park is closed at night and the gate is locked. Allow enough time to pack, hike, and drive out the oneway road to the gate before it is locked.
Description
To the left of the green lichen wall is a semi-cave with a blocky roof. Climb the down-sloping shelves to the left of the roof, stretch or leap to the roof itself, swinging to the far right wall and pull the roof. Finish through another overhanging section to a lichen-coated ramp. Holds inside the cave can be very slimy - not wet, but slimy. A fall while still inside the cave can result in hitting the ground due to rope length and stretch. Helmet highly recommended. Watch the rope carefully - lots of sharp edges.
