A great warm-up route on the Amphitheater, it has many crimp holds. The print-out Santee Boulders guide lists this as a 5.8


Just to the right of Jump Start on the south face of the Amphitheater.

One of many great problems on this face. I think the 5.8 grade is pretty accurate for this one, and it's nowhere near V1 (5.10d). I uploaded a couple of topo photos of the N. and S. face of the rock with ratings. I'll try to get back and add details for each. Jul 26, 2011
