Starting on the arete just below The Murray Highball and finishes via the crack.

A nice technical, gymnastic start to an easy crack climb. Would be three stars if it were more consistent. Starting with two crimps on the arete, make the long move to the big cobble, then up to a pair of good mini-flakes, then the complete the tricky stab into the start of the crack. Finish up the crack and top out.

I thoroughly enjoyed this problem. Took me a while (several visits) to work out the beta but the sequence of moves from the start until you get on top of the big cobble is what drew me back each and every time. The crack is a nice leisurely way to finish it off.

Thanks for posting this Claude, not to mention the rest of the problems in the area. I've been trying to find this problem on mtn project for a long while now. Dec 26, 2011
Three-year battle with this line. Sent last spring, and definitely the hardest bloc I have sent. Not sure about grade, felt hard for sure. Amazing bouldery foothill problem though. Worth all of the treks. Now onto the next one. The season is upon New Mexico once again. Dec 4, 2013
