Description

This is a very nice climb, with finger and hand jamming, plus face moves on knobs.

Location

The southwest face is split by a large ramp/gully. To the right of this feature, the obvious inside corner is Curbside. Handicapped Zone starts around to the right, at a crack.

Protection

standard rack

Really fun crack with excellent pro to start, up high the placement gets a little more sparse and the rock quality is marginal. Gear anchor in the large crack, I used two c4 #3's and one c4 #4 for the anchor. The climb itself doesn't take any gear bigger than a #2. Could probably be a really fun lead on all nuts. Oct 30, 2017

Not every J Tree vertical crack goes at such a chill grade! Nice jams. Jan 28, 2014
