Description

This is the 10th route from the left on the Titanic. A bouldery start leads to steep but juggy climbing into and through a short dihedral. A slightly off-camber move up high was the crux for me. This is a good route; engaging enough for the grade, but it's all there.

Protection

6 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor.

Really fun route - the bolt spacing and friable nature of the rock at this cliff make for a heady lead. I thought this was borderline R rated due to the ledge fall potential from the last bolt to the anchors. Beware of a hidden barrel cactus on the ledge at 2/3 height, I found it the hard way!

According to the Bruestle guide, the route is called Mystic Cub. FA Bob & Carrie Robertson. Jan 27, 2013
