Description

An easy slab climb that is spoiled somewhat by some bad rocks and pebbly ledges. Tell your belayer to stand off to the side a bit when you are climbing this bad boy.

Location

About 30 feet to the left of the large corner. Stays left of the large corner.

Protection

Bolts, 10 to a two chain anchor. Bring two ropes or a 70 to rap, otherwise walk off left.

My 60M rope got me down to the ground but just barely... Rap line was just over the other double bolt anchor about 20' off the ground. There are a few good slab moves up high. Jun 8, 2016

To add to the rope length/lowering/rapping beta, we found that a 60m rope will allow you to lower to about 10' off the deck before running out of rope. It's very easy ground below that so it's possible to just unrope and down climb the rest of the way. May 30, 2016

One 60m rope will get you down if you rap straight past the anchor on road rash. Both rope ends will touch the ground with about a foot of extra. Jun 21, 2015

The amount of loose rock/gravel on this one is impressive, even by highway standards. It's only for the couple of ok slab moves up high that this route gets more than a bomb. Feb 22, 2015

Tons of loose rock on this route. Have your partner follow to clean. A 70m will get you down, just barely, if you rap. If you have a 60m, you can rap to chains of Road Rash, and from there to the ground. Apr 17, 2014
