Description

Two cracks broken up with some ledges, first crack 10-15 feet, second crack around 15 feet. First crack is about fist sized, fun and interesting, exciting mantle moves to leave the crack. Second crack is more hand sized, and a lot more fun. Topping the route wasn't too bad, but this thing needs some loving. Get on it.

Location

Around 15 feet left of High School Romancer. We topped out and walked around to get down.

Protection

Hand sized cams and some hexes, probably could use a nut or two if you wanted.
Finger sized cams and some nuts for the anchor.

Photos

Fun crack climb. Climbed that with Nick and it was great. Even though we almost lost his belay device when the sun set and he dropped it Nov 13, 2011

Sounds like a hard route to clean. Nice work. I'll have to check this out next time I hit the hollow. May 29, 2011

We cleaned it for about an hour or so on the day I climbed it, but the lichen was super thick. I got back out there yesterday and scrubbed for another hour, and it still needs more work. The feet aren't SUPER-slick anymore, but they still have a little coating of dusty green crap on them. May 27, 2011

When you say "This route needs some lovin" are you hoping people get on it to help clean it up? Did you clean it at all? May 27, 2011

The rock is actually very good. Covered in lichen and moss, but we took a dent out of it. There was a 30 pound block that had to go though, so that was pretty sweet. May 20, 2011
I checked this out last year but didn't have time to send. Good addition but breaking off some bad holds looked mandatory. Did it shed? May 20, 2011
