Start on big jug flake and climb increasingly more difficult boulder problems with mediocre shakes until you can get a double knee bar at the last bolt and then slap/squeeze/toss until you gain jugs at the anchors. ~30 moves and none of them are "easy".

Left Bunker on the left side. Obvious arete-like feature with 6 bolts to 2 bolt anchor.

Bolts with fixed climb tech draws.

First Hanger came off because the head of the bolt snapped off! I was on the 6th bolt and I would assume that the tension of the rope pulled the hanger off. I would check all of the bolts and hangers before trying this seriously. I fell on a lot of them so they seemed bomber but I would check them again! Lots of seeping water on this route! Aug 19, 2017

This route is absolutely not 5.13a by the way guys! It's a southern thing, people on here are just trying to dawg everyone and downgrade the route. The reality is this is either 13b or c and people have even called it d. Not a d but hard! I would give it a 13c because it took me a ton of goes, now it could just be a stylistic thing, where it just felt hard for me but it took me a Lot longer than any route I've ever done. Also, in Rifle, which is sandbagged, I have done all the hard moves continuously in 3 tries on the route and fell off the 5.11 section at the top. This felt much harder and took me massive amounts of time longer and training to get. Like I said, it could have been training but don't let people who are conceded tell you this is 5.13a. Be proud of this ascent this route is hard and solid for the grade!!! :) Nov 5, 2018
