Climb the straight-in splitter starting with good hands which widens to off-fist (crux) then back to good hands to the top.

The climb was named for the rope-stretch whipper Manuel took while seconding. His hair zapping up in the style favored by fight promoter Don King.

Don King Crack starts about 15 feet left (north) of Gorilla In Manilla.

Descent: Rappel from chains with a single 60m.

Pro to 4.5 inches.

There are 2 bolts with chains on the right side of the belay ledge.

Climbed this one again recently (4/21/13) and did a bit more cleaning of loose microflakes. Good fun and great for practicing those knee-locks and chicken wings. Apr 27, 2013
