Description

A fun pull over a steep bulge leads to interesting climbing up a head wall to the arete.
Engage the arete in a 3 dimensional manner then finish on thought provoking slab moves.

Location

On the left hand edge of the far west face of Middle Earth.

Protection

Bolts, chains

High crux moves with sweeping views. A mental test-piece with moderate balance moves on mediocre quality stone. A good climb, if you're into this sort of thing. Nov 7, 2015

This line is the furthest right of the routes at Middle Earth. It is on a different wall.

Moderate climbing on gritty, lichen-covered rock leads to a technical arete with great moves. A helmet is suggested for the belayer as both my partner and I pulled off fist-sized pieces. Oct 23, 2011
