Description

Scrambling leads up to a long, clean face with four bolts; a very nice route.

Location

To the right of Slim Pickings, the initial part of the wall becomes less steep. Right of a crack system, you can see bolts on the upper part of the wall. Start below the left set of bolts.

Protection

a few pieces of gear and four bolts, plus gear for the belay

Getting to the face is hardly scrambling. First part is a low angle groove (mid-5th?) with minimal pro, getting onto the dark pear-shaped feature is tricky as well. Brought a few cams and wished I'd had a more varied rack including a couple small nuts. Interesting route but a variety of challenges for a novice. Mar 18, 2016
