[Hide Comment] This is definitely not a first ascent. I believe Ward Smith climbed it first. Nov 4, 2013

[Hide Comment] It could be. The arete I know Ward did is just to the right of where this one starts, with a sit start. I am not sure that he did any others on this boulder.

Ward? (While you are at it, do you remember any of the other routes we did? Nov 4, 2013

[Hide Comment] It's just such an obvious feature that it's hard to believe that it wouldn't have been climbed. Especially when the other climbs on this boulder- the arete you're talking about and the crimpy face to the right- both have obviously been cleaned and reinforced and the glue job is similar to most of the other reinforcements in the area.

But, of course, you never know. I just feel like most of the guys who have been back there have a pretty good eye for a line. :) Nov 4, 2013
