Directly left of Air Monsters on the thumb. A bit of a sketchy start as it is run out like Air Monsters, but a tad harder with the tree right in your back. A draw can be placed from the top of the fin if you want to skip the danger. Hard bouldery moves after the second bolt to the top with a few decent holds to get a quick shake.

Directly left of Air Monsters, farthest left bolt line on the east face of the thumb.

It will be interesting to see what consensus comes too. As you know many plus routes are rated that because the FA worked it a ton, think they can't climb that hard and since they climbed it it cannot be 13 or whatever the next higher grade is. Either way it is harder than Air Monsters.

Love to hear what others who have been on it think, then if they would post it on the page so that the consensus can be calculated. Go to "change rating" and change it to what you think it should be. I would hope folks would only do this if they have redpointed or onsighted the climb. Apr 19, 2011

It's been a while since I got on this route, but I was working Infectious (13b) at the time and Tree Monsters felt similarly difficult to me. Very possible that the moves are just not my style so feel more difficult. I'll try to get back on it soon and get a fresh take on it. For what it's worth, I also got on Rocket Science once around the same time and was able to hack my way through the moves in a few tries, whereas it took me a few different trips on Tree Monsters to do the hardest moves. Again, could just be a poor match for my particular strengths and weaknesses. May 16, 2011
