Access Issue: Closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15 Details

Description

This is a worthwhile face climb, located just to the left of Second Thoughts. Climb on thin edges leading up to a roof. Optional gear under the roof but you don't really need it. Pull over the roof and climb past a few more bolts to the anchors. I remember the crux being the thin stuff at the start, but the Supertopo shows the crux being after the roof.

Protection

7 bolts, 2 bolt anchor/rap
2.5" piece optional

you can get to a good stance and clip the bolt above the roof, so you don't really need gear for this route Apr 25, 2013

I found the most difficult part of this climb was the top. Even then I was just trying to find the easiest way through the crux. Try it a few different ways and see which way seems easiest. No need for gear on the route, it is safe. Oct 28, 2016
