Got out and climbed this today! I had set out to send Iceburg Lettuce with its 4 star rating, but was a bit spooked by the start of the climb, so I moved over to this climb instead. Let me say, I wanted so badly to love this area, but it is really in need of some traffic. The climb itself will be very good, but deserves a much higher grade( currently 10a)for a solid lead, in this condition. I must have removed a few pounds of scree and choss ( bring a helmet for your belayer) This in and of itself raises the bar when your feet are coming out from under you. Portable holds aside, this route has a ton of potential and I would encourage groups to come give it some traffic and cleaning. I would call this route 10d, on malibu standards, in its current condition. Nov 9, 2013
