Raven Closure Details

Description

Climb large, slopey jug ledges separated by crimps. Save energy for the difficult and somewhat desperate move to the anchor clipping jugs. This is a hidden gem of northeast climbing!

Location

This is the obvious bolted line to the left of the rightward-leaning crack.

Protection

5 bolts to anchors.

Rick Fleming did the first ascent on toprope in the '80s, I did bolt it circa 1988. Oct 24, 2017

Amazing route. I remember when the anchors on this thing were gone and you had to do the last move to where the anchor is now...then run it out all the way to the 5.8's anchors and lower. Super fun that way! Sep 27, 2012

I'm 98% sure Ward Smith put this route up. He and his brother Chris and friends put up most of the routes here. Nov 2, 2011
