Stand start with left crimp and right on slopey ledge, hike feet and throw for lip. Swing feet right and get good heel and toe hooks and bump your way up arete. Fun climbing and very gymnastic!

This boulder sits in the trees at the top of the talus about 40ft west Battle Wound.

Lots of pads and have spotters ready. Very committing up the arete.

I came so close to linking this today. It's exhausting to try over and over. Mar 28, 2011

Awesome climb! Vince figured out really great beta that we overlooked the other day. Apr 5, 2011
This was rad and a little scary Apr 5, 2011
I would be very interested in seeing this beta at some point. I would get part way up the arete with my right hand and then just sort of stall. Cool problem though. Nice work on cleaning this up and building as good a landing as you could. Apr 7, 2011
We added about two feet or so of landing length but you still don't want to blow off the crux. Apr 8, 2011
