FA: unknown
Maryland > Carderock > Hades Heights

Description

Fun climb that poses a couple of little cruxes, mostly thin with crimpers: Note the holds on the corner are off. A common variation of this climb is to use only hand holds on the corner, and feet on the slab.

Location

To the left at the bottom of the down climb, the climb follows the inside of a corner formed by the rock, starts just to the left of a large boulder.

Protection

Large Boulders and trees at the top for anchors

[Hide Comment] Really fun technical face climbing with a couple stout moves. Nothing like smearing your way up a frictionless Carderock wall. Mar 31, 2018

[Hide Comment] This climb is way more polished than when it was graded 5.9-. I say this given that I still climb at Carderock at least once per week. Jul 23, 2020
