Description

Climb through a few ledges, ending up above the prow itself (this constitutes most of the length of the route). The crux is the thin, bulging left-face, which can easily be skipped by going further left and finishing the last few moves of Enola.

Location

The 2nd-from-left route at The Atoll, just right of Enola, on the south-facing aspect of the prow formation.

Protection

1 naked bolt & 3 bolts with hangers, leading to a 2-bolt anchor shared with Enola. Some bolts may be out of immediate reach for diminutive climbers.

The anchor bolts are on the horizontal surface atop the formation & can cause rope drag. Walkoff to the left & down a path to the creek-side.

(PG-13 only because the first hanger has been removed and a moderate move precedes the 2nd bolt.)

[Hide Comment] Not only the bolts would be hard to reach but also the holds. I climbed this with a 5'8" partner who suffered a lack of reach greatly at a few different places. I think at my height (5'10" with long arms) the route is middle 5.10, but if you are shorter, it is probably 10d or more. May 31, 2012
