This is a stand start up the center of the Sacrificial Boulder's south face. Make big lock-offs between patina jugs. Near the lip the patina runs out and you face the "Fear of the Unknown."

Two pads - one for the landing, one for the rock behind you

have attentive spotters! the top-out spit me off and I took one of the worst falls in my bouldering career off this thing- I give it an 'R'. Jan 14, 2011

Adam, I changed the rating to reflect your suggestion. I hope you were okay. Unfortunately, the top spit my friend off as well, and she sprained her ankle severely.

For others, take Adam's suggestion seriously, especially considering the length and relative difficulty of the approach. However, note that the experience of this climb is amazing. Large fluid moves on positive holds to the lip. At the lip there is a tremendous in cut rail and up to this point the down climb is easy. Jan 21, 2011
