Topping out around the left of the bulge (at the top of Safesurfer) is what the guidebook says is V5 (maybe even a little tougher). The early mantle before the bulge is much easier, around V3/V4. Feb 13, 2015

Old guide book says V5 for the mantle top out at the crack. New book says go all the way left and exit on Safesurfer. Based on trying both and talking with climbers working the same problem I believe both are V5. Exiting left doesn't climb really well, mantle move is where its at. Dec 10, 2018
