Access Issue: BLM Managed Lands at Castle Rocks PERMANENTLY CLOSED TO CLIMBING!! Castle Rocks State Park lands are OPEN TO CLIMBING Details

Climb up the arete on the right side of the formation with the pointy tip, just right of Meadowlark. Clip three bolts, then, take care with a large kind of secure block which dubiously accepts a couple of small to medium sized cams for protection. Clip another bolt, ascend up to a low angle break at the shoulder of the formation, then traverse to the left and up to the fixed anchor.

Mission Mountain Wood Band

Located on the right side of the south face of the North Tower formation with the spikey summit. Start just left of the chimney and broken ground of the formation to the east.

Same rappel/belay anchor as for Meadowlark.

4 lead bolts with a couple of supplemental cams in the small to medium range (#2 TCU to .5 Camalot or equivalent).
