Description
Far less frequently climbed than other routes of the grade here, this is still a fun, technical face climb that isn't too sharp despite the fact that its on the black (typically sharper) limestone... ok, it gets a bit sharp up high, but still not too bad. The crux is sustained, balance-y and technical -- and fun. The route eases up a bit afterwards, though its no gimme until you clip the anchors.
Location
Just right of the classic Merry Christmas. Locate the distinct pedestal at the base of Face Route and Merry Christmas, right of The Phoenix. Where the trail narrows, there's a line that ascends straight up, through the black limestone, with a large bolder on the opposite side of the trail. This is Happy Chanukah.
