Get Some

V6, Boulder, 14 ft (4 m),  Avg: 2.6 from 5 votes
FA: Darren Knezek
Utah > Central Utah > Joe's Valley > Right Fork > Lower Hillside
Warning Access Issue: Don't climb on wet rock! DetailsDrop down

Description

To the right of "Skins Game," start on the flake and in-cut crimp with low feet. Work your way up the face using micro crimps until footing is good. The crux is two moves from the end, finding good feet and making a stab at a high right in-cut. Top out is solid.

On the FA, one of the crimps broke out under my foot and is now half as large as it was to start. This makes it quite a bit harder, but not ruined.

Location

On the "Black and Blue Boulder," directly to the right of "Skins Game." Look for the obvious flake and a shallow pocket crimp.

Protection

Start on the flake and pocket crimp. Reach right to an in-cut pocket and work up the micro crimps to the in-cut crimper on the right side. Find solid feet, and go to the flake... Top out using bomber jugs and pockets.

[Hide Comment] I put this up about ten years ago and called it, "Get Some" and rated it V4. Spent a better part of the day cleaning it and making the landing not so steep. Dec 16, 2010
