A classic ice climb of the Northeast, burly and challenging.



(I've been searching all over the internet, but can't find any info about this climb, if anyone has any, please let me know)

On the larger face of Kineo, when the ice sets in well.

The Wilcox/Lewis guide gives the FRA as Cummins/Imbrie in 1977, with an earlier ascent in '75 or '76 that went unreported. Feb 28, 2013

I'm almost positive that the f/a was Paul Boissonault (Base) and Kurt Winkler around 1980.
At the time there was talk of it being grade 6. Kurt had done the f/a of L'Pomme D'or in Quebec and thought this was at least as hard. Dec 7, 2010
