I created the name, as I did not see it on this site. I have not seen it listed in any guide book either. Just a name for a boulder. if the fa party has the name, please put it up! I just wanted to get it on this site :) Jun 9, 2011

i haven't heard that name either, we climbed it years ago. but who knows who got the FA to name it. I've always considered it the Cottonwood Splinter Crack (V0).

I've encountered the same dilemma numerous times. Tracking down history of some climbs is impossible. I think that giving a name that is more of a description is just fine... as is giving it a creative name so long as you're not claiming the FA. Thanks for putting it up!
