Broken Foot

Wisconsin > Devil's Lake > E Bluff 01 - Sa… > 1. Old Sandstone

Broken Foot is an appealing looking short crack on the east side of the Old Sandstone climbing area. If you've done all the classics, or want to try a fun and easy lead, this is your route. Although it's short the route combines a lot of different climbing into a mere 40 feet. Start out with some finger and hand jams down low, move up to the layback flake feature (which is a very cool feature) and then stem your way up to the top. Anchor at the top on some trees.

25 yards east past Pacific Ocean Wall.

[Hide Comment] I had a number 7 Wild Country Rock get stuck in the top crack, if anyone can free it, you are much stronger than I, and feel free to keep it as a trophy of your nut retrieving abilities. Mar 9, 2015
[Hide Comment] Wasn't really groomed when I got on it.

I did get to climb through hoardes of dandelion seeds though, which was neat. May 7, 2017
