David and hiked up and found this yesterday. It's actually something Chris Terry and I climbed way back in the day - probably in 1998-1999 timeframe. We hiked up to it from the McHugh boulders though, so I didn't recognize the directions. Knew it was up there somewhere.

We climbed the left line from a direct sit start below the crack and followed the crack to the lip and topped out. We thought it was in the v6/7 range, with a reasonable landing. I don't think we climbed the arete, although I'm not totally sure, and we definitely didn't try to link into the crack from the right. I don't think we named it either.

It looked to me like there could be another project line with a gnarly landing further to the left of the crack as well. Not sure how hard though. Apr 23, 2015
