Description

Work through a fallen boulder covered in small sandy dimples. No defined good holds.

Location

Somewhat difficult to get to. Find the large fallen boulders that make a small cavern. Get down below them. A large boulder sticks out near the entrance to the cavern. You'll see the dimples.

Protection

Crash Pad and Spotter. Landing is somewhat on a slope make sure you don't roll down the hill.

I think that the stump has rotted away in the last 5 years. The landing could be improved lots with a small shovel, looks like it has washed some since the original work was done. This route was way too hard for me, but there are a few other rocks in the area that were entertaining. Great view and a real neat "cave" between boulders Nov 27, 2016

I heard from Aaron Stetzer that when he first cleaned the boulder they were going to name it "Trainal Probe" because of a very intrusive dead and pointy stump right at the base of the climb. But the climb has yet to be FA'd so it's not set in stone. Aug 1, 2011
