Description

"From base of the old tree, head up the slab and into a chimney squeeze. Once on the ledge, head left into the dihedral (optional gear protects easy climbing to next bolt) and then back onto the arete. The route has a heady crux getting onto the arete and a pleasant finish." - 2008 Ozone Guidebook

Location

Fourth anchor on this wall, climbing starts to the left of the tree. Shares anchor with May Day, bolt line to the right.

Protection

Bolts, optional gear (TCU)

My favorite climb at Ozone to date. Moving from the dihedral to the arete is challenging but all-in-all makes for a tremendous climb.

The view from the top is pretty spectacular! Dec 13, 2015
