Big Rock is currently closed to climbing.

An undercut and powerful start (crux) gives way to easier but runout climbing up plates and edges along a vague arete on the west face. Will be better and safer once the old bolts get replaced.

West face of the boulder (faces the trail).

3 bolts (1/4"), use belay anchors on south face routes.

It's only R if you can get the first bolt clipped and if it holds. otherwise it's RR... like in, way bad fall.
First bolt, clip after the crux, 5/16ths button head, rusted and not trust worthy. second and third bolts are quarter inch spinners. it's cool, do it if you're motivated! Jan 23, 2011
