Description
Climb the left arete/face of Edge Rock without touching Little Eiger.
This fun climb has the crux at the large ledge just below the top out. Can potentially be made a bit easier by stemming across the gap to Little Eiger.
Referred to as “Arete” in the 2022 Bay Area Rock guidebook and as “Pull Up” in the older Supertopo and Falcon guidebooks.
Location
Just right of the left arete of Edge Rock on the slabby face.
The route is located to the right of the northernmost point of Edge Rock, which is adjacent to Little Eiger (the large rock with the boulder balanced on top).
To access the bolts, you need to climb up to the boulder that is the highest point in the Indian Joe Cave area. Then jump over "Hour Glass" (the climb up the chimney from below) to the adjacent large boulder to reach the bolts to set up your anchor.
