Warning Access Issue: Avoid Long Rock Slab in spring (nesting birds) DetailsDrop down

Description

A sustained finger-crack, though with lots of good rests.

The big ledge from which routes on Long Rock Slab start is 25' above the beach at low tide but is wave-washed at high tide - so if you don't get a move on your belayer will be very unhappy.

Location

Lost Horizon lies on Long Rock Slab, left of the obvious corner of Urizen. Easiest approach is at low tide by walking across from the base of the Promontory. Escape by scrambling along the crest of the slab and then up unpleasant, steep, grassy ground.

Protection

Lots of nuts
