Description

The right end of the three ridiculously popular low 7 routes. These tend to get hammered all day, either as warm-ups for the harder routes or as projects for those getting into the grade. The singular moves are all fairly easy, with so many rests you might confuse your real objective of climbing up with finding the next rest. Probably no harder than the 7a+ routes to the left, and probably no harder than 6c when taking advantage of the rests.

Location

left side of the cave. Name is painted on the rock. Ends just left of the obvious brown, blank section.

Protection

Bolts to fixed anchor draw. Be smart when cleaning... I saw more than one person get drug across the rocks, sometimes with their belayer.

[Hide Comment] Really unique! Definitely different than DNA and a step up...otherwise, same kind of climbing with a clear crux section. There was a really flexy jug flake around clip 3 or 4 that I avoided for a summer but it never seemed to budge, at least while I was there. Jul 29, 2020

[Hide Comment] Both kneepads are useful but if you only have one, put it on your right. There are more kneebars than bolts on this one :) Nov 28, 2022
